Wabasha Brewing Company and Taproom is St. Paul’s first craft brewery on the west side of the city, located in close proximity to the Wabasha Caves. Opened in August 2016, the Wabasha taproom features brick walls, hardwood floors and tin ceilings that are all original to the building. The large, 22-foot bar is made of dark reclaimed barn wood for southern Wisconsin, adding to the rustic, reclaimed atmosphere. The taproom has a capacity of 61 people and features a pergola-style patio which gives lets visitors enjoy their beers out in the fresh air; during the non-winter months, that is. The warm and inviting space also features an art wall that showcases local artists in support of St. Paul’s art community.
